The society "Masias de la Selva" is a family enterprise founded in 1990 with the aim to promote and develop the rural tourism with in the ancient rural wealth of its owners.

n the first years of its existence, the society rented beautifully restored and furnished country houses for short periods (weekly) in cooperation with the travel agency linked to the German Automobil Club (T.U.Y.).  

Later on, the renting periods were extended to the whole summer and over the last few years, we have based our activity on the annual house renting, since the country houses have been fully equipped (central heating system, phone line with ADSL, air conditioning, swimming pool, tennis court,...)

Due to this, the majority of our customers are living there as permanent tenants the whole year through. Many of them are foreigners because Girona-Costa Brava airport is located within reach of the houses (20 kms), and the fast Internet connection allows them to work from home.
